Walking Through the Valley
Join us at Zion Lutheran Church, Naperville, for an in-depth look at death and dying from the Christian perspective. Our new Bible Study begins this Sunday, March 9th from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. in our Activity Center.
Topics include:
- why we need not fear death;
- what happens at the moment we die;
- caring for the terminally ill;
- dealing with the death of a loved one in the first few hours, days and beyond;
- the mourning process in light of our Christian faith:
- a frank discussion of funeral homes;
- the uniqueness of a Lutheran funeral and committal service.
This study will take us through all of Lent right up until our observance of Holy Week and Christ's passion - His suffering and death - followed by our celebration of His glorious resurrection on Easter morning.
